How marks become grades
Each subject is graded on the percentage of marks gained. An overall 40% or more is a pass.

| 90% and above | A+ | 4.0 |
| 80% to under 90% | A | 3.7 |
| 70% to under 80% | B | 3.0 |
| 60% to under 70% | C | 2.0 |
| 50% to under 60% | D | 1.0 |
| Below 50% | F | 0.0 |
